I am getting issues with Account Lockout Examiner on Windows 2019, where the I can only set it up to use PDC not all DC's, as I get the attached message

Also I am getting IIS Windows component has not be installed or the asp.net,Windows Authentication and IIS 6 Metabase compability (required for IIS 7)features have not been installed.  Even though I have installed these.

Hi there,

I would like to know operating system version installed on:

1. server with Account Lockout Examiner

2. PDC

In order to check the version, please run the command prompt with elevated rights and execute the following:

msinfo32 /nfo c:\sysinf.nfo

Please attach two sysinf.nfo files and let me know which one belongs to 1/2 option.

Windows 2019 OS is pretty fresh, so we would need to perform a tests in our environment.

Best regards,
Forum Engineer

I have managed to sort out the issue with connecting to all DC's by following:

https://www.netwrix.com/kb/1578

I am now getting the issue with installing the helpdesk portal as it is saying I don't have the components installed for iis etc even though I have.

We are in the process of moving it from server 2008 as this runs out of support in a year.

Hi there,

During installation it is checked that the "ASP.NET" component installed, since it has "ASP.NET 3.5" name in Server 2019 OS, there is no match and the warning message is returned that necessary components are missing.

The Help-Desk Portal is supported on the following operating systems, please review the attached image and consider to use one of them.
