I have reviewed prior emails and I can not find my issue fully.  Here is the aleservice log please let me know what is missing.  I receive the emails to my account, the service account and has access to the email account named the same, and when I reply with UNLOCK:CODENUM it never unlocks.

Thanks

darren.a,

According to the log, the product cannot find Exchange organization in the domain it is installed in.

Please make sure that the Exchange server name you specify is the name of a server in same domain.

Also please make sure all prerequisites described in the KB are satisfied:

This is strange, the email server is wishing the domain and working. I can login to the webmail portion on this server running netwirx and I can ping by DNS.

Also apparently the system does see the exchange server because it is able to email me locked account info, it's the UNLOCK reply that does not work

darren.a,

Sending of emails is done through SMTP, it is completely different method.

The fact it is working means that there is network connection present, and SMTP server is configured.

To read emails you need other settings to be in place.

Saying that it cannot find Exchange organization I mean that there is no data regarding it in domain configuration found, or domain is specified incorrectly.

So lets check the following:

1) What version of Microsoft Exchange you use?

2) Did you specify a server with a mailbox role as the Exchange server?

Also, according to the log the real domain name is COMPANY.local, and you have specified COMPANY.com as the server name.

Please change the server name to have the same domain, webmail.COMPANY.local as I understand.

Also you can switch to using POP3.

We are using Exchange 2012, we did specify an account designed for just this role/system.

We have to use the .Local but the .com on the webmail is correct...or should I use the ad system name like xyzmailserv.company.local?
