Service Monitor - Unable to add Server

Hi There,

I was able to install the Service Monitor but I am not able to successfully add a server. Steps to recreate:
1. Click on Add - success
2. Enter IP address - success
3. Click on Apply - success
4. Enter Account Name and Password on the Scheduled Task Credentials window - unsuccessful with the following error:
- Logon failure: unknown user or bad password.

I know that this info is accurate so any ideas?

Shandiz,

Have you tried any other ways of specifying the user name? Like domain\user or just user? This functionality does work so it is failing to authenticate in windows somehow. This account would need to authenticate locally as well as on target machines.

Yes, have used domain\user and user. I am not having any issues authenticating locally. Any other thoughts?

Sorry the only other thing I can offer is that the account may be locked out.
