I'm having difficulty getting the omitoulist.txt to do anything. I have tried:

OU=Corporate,OU=Users,DC=domain,DC=local

OU=Corporate

OU=Corporate*

 

with no success. What is the correct format? Do I need to restart a service after making a change?

If it is the corporate OU that you are wanting to omit have you tried:

 

*OU=Corporate* (star at the beginning was missing)

 

No there are no services.  The exe runs on a scheduled task an has no services associated with it and all config is read new each time.

 

If the above doesn't work just put a * by itself.  In theory this should just omit everything.  Does that work?  That tells you if the file is being read or not.

Aha! It would appear *OU=Whatever* is required. Just for fun I tried some full paths, even with a root OU, and it didn't work. But this works.

I then tried multiple lines:

*OU=Corp*

*OU=Chicago*

and that worked as well. Both were excluded. Thank you!
