I have a list of 28 servers configured. Verify email works. Configuration change email works. Scheduled task works and all as expected (i.e. all services are running) apart from 4 errors - Failed to connect to server 'servername'. Access is denied.


I am connecting with a service account which is a member of Administrators on the target computer(s).

I can load services.msc and successfully connect to the remote computer.

I can connect to the c$ share on the remote computer.

I have checked that WMI and RPC services are running on the remote computer.

Of the 4 some have Windows Firewall off and others have Windows Firewall on but I have checked and ports 135 and 445 are open.


I have checked the NSM.log file in the tracing folder. This shows the errors but doesn't give me any more info. (zip file attached).


Server running the Services Monitor has also been rebooted, still same errors.


What else can I check to get these working, please help.

Still experiencing the same issue. Does anyone have any ideas please ?
