Was wondering if there was any documentation on how often the free version of service monitor goes out and polls the respective services on the servers it is monitoring?
Also is there anyway to have the monitoring alert on 2 back to back failure polls as opposed to a first failure?
Thanks
Michael

Hi, Michael.
Please allow me to answer your questions:

> Service Monitor polls the respective services every 10 minutes.
Also is there anyway to have the monitoring alert on 2 back to back failure polls as opposed to a first failure?
> No, Service Monitor will alert you each time the service falls.

is there an option in "Monitor specific services" to add more than one at a time?
adding each service individually is breaking my will to live!
And can you decrease the polling time from 10 to say 5 minutes?
