Thank you.

Best regards,

Hi,

There is no native support for Synology in Netwrix at the moment but there can be workarounds.

What type of events you'd like to collect from that device? Please clarify.

Regards,

AndreyK

Hi,

@AndreyK: I am interested in this topic. Can you please describe possible workarounds?

I would like to track/collect events like create/modify/delete files on Synology (Synology device will be configured for integration with Active Directory)

Thanks and regards,

J.

Hello Jorge,

The first workaround presumes using Netwrix API for collecting and processing events from Synology devices.

If it is possible to make the device send events to the Netwrix host in a syslog-compatible format (and I believe that Log Center can do that), it should be possible to configure parsing rules and save those events to the Netwrix database.

https://www.netwrix....tegrations.html

The second workaround is using Event Log Management if Synology device can save events on a Windows host in .evtx format.

Hope this answer helps.
