Lockout Examiner Helpdesk Portal stops working

Our lockout examiner helpdesk portal stops working on a daily basis. When trying the website, it gives a System.Net.Sockets.SocketException error stating no connection could be made because the target machine refused it.

 

Usually a reboot off the server will solve the issue until the following day.

 

Any ideas?

It could happen that the Account Lockout Examiner service become unresponsive and returns that error message on the connection.

Please try the steps from the following KB:
