Netwrix Account Lockout Examiner Server C Drive is almost full.

Besides temp files and windows updates files, is there any files I can safely delete ? or can any files be moved off of C drive ?

endlessknot,

You can move Account Lockout Examiner to another drive.

Just uninstall it and install to another drive.

It can be actually considered as a migration, please take a look at the following KB:

https://www.netwrix.com/kb/1243

Thank you dsmirnov.

Is there any way to delete not needed Netwrix files from the C drive ?

The server's C drive is 200 GB and it has only 100 MB free.

Total C drive is 200 GB

Used is 199 GB

If Account Lockout Examiner is migrated to another drive, will C drive have enough space.

Account Lockout Examiner consuming 199GB out of 200 GB on C drive does not make sense ??

Please advise.

We use several of your paid products.

endlessknot,

Account Lockout Examiner should not produce so huge amount of files.

Can you please let me know what exact file or files are taking so much space?

I am almost sure they can be just deleted, but need to confirm.

So what are the files?

Hi dsmirnov,

We found the issue - Event Logs are holding 162 GB of C drive. Upon drilling further into it’s Event Viewer, saved logs are hogging space.

See attached.

Please advise.

Hi dsmirnov,

We deleted the log files and now the C drive has ample space.

Please close this issue.
