We are looking to implement the ALE tool in our environment. The ALE Service is throwing an error when we attempt to unlock accounts.

In Remote Control, when we set up the exchange server as 'outlook.office365.com', it assumes the domain is office365.com. When we set up the server as FQDN, we get an index out of range exception.  (See log below)

We use Office365 and don't have an on premise Exchange Server.

ALEService.exe Information: 0 : [TID: 107, Time: 7/1/2019 1:01:13 PM] MONITORING: Init WMI Domain watcher, server: SERVER.MyDomainName.local

Hello,

Thank you for your post. Please let me check if ALE Remote Control can work with Hybrid configuration (domain + exchange online)

Regards,

Denis

Hi there,

I have tested ALE with office 365, it works fine.

Please ensure you are using the correct settings.

Best regards,
Forum Engineer

Hi Kirk,

The only issue I am experiencing is getting Remote Control to work. We are a hybrid set up and I want to be able to send the Unlock email and have the AD account unlocked. This is the part that is not working.

It might take a time to configure similar target environment and perform tests.
